Psalms 141:4
With how the world is changing, getting more and more evil, it is important that we get more self sufficient when it comes to essentials. We need to go back to basics and stop depending on this world to provide our needs.
I was never the farming type, I actually started farming for something really simple. I liked peppers and I used them often and believed that I should have my own. Peppers literally grow themselves so it wasn't much work, so I could still fairly distance myself from farming (except when it came to catepillars). Then, I got a pound of stale peanuts from my aunt to plant and I thought, what would be the best way to plant these? So I went on YouTube and watched a few planting videos and then watched some more and got so enthralled with the various ways that we could plant and before you knew it , I started planting almost everything! Planting for yourself not only saves money, it makes money too, we can also help others who don't have and it makes us eat healthier. This is just the way that YAH intended it.

It depends on the plant, the climate and the season. Leafy vegetables love water but you don't have to water them every day, two good soaks a week should be fine for most Plants whereas plants that grow on vines and thyme should get watered preferably once a week because it doesn't like water as much.
I'd say peppers, no matter what type, also carrots and some leafy vegetables like Pak Choi and Callaloo which take roughly about a month to finish growth.
Simple household items such as baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and Epsom salt. There are other things too but those depend upon the availability of where you live and you can more or less find alternatives.
